What You Will Be Doing

Lead the development and architecture of custom WordPress themes and plugins.

Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and project managers.

Mentor junior developers and help set best practices and coding standards.

Contribute to the planning and estimation of projects.
Must-Have
Qualifications & Requirements:

4+ years of professional WordPress development experience.

Expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

Deep understanding of WordPress core, hooks, filters, custom post types, taxonomies, and REST API.

Experience developing custom plugins and themes from scratch.

Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce integrations.

Proficient with Git version control and deployment workflows.

Strong communication skills in English.

Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring others.
Bonus Skills:

Experience with headless WordPress, WPGraphQL, or React/Vue integrations.

Familiarity with Composer, npm/yarn, and modern build tools.

Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization.
